Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Alexandra, and I love making jewelry. I grew up in Brazil, and now I live in the United States with my husband and two kids. My mother is Brazilian and my father is from Cape Verde. I have an academic background in Sociology, International Relations, and Localization, so diversity has shaped my life in multiple ways. I love learning and trying new things, and looking for inspiration in art, crafts and books (reading is how I spend a big chunk of my free time!).

My passion for jewelry started long ago. As a child, I loved making friendship bracelets out of yarn and beads. With artists on both sides of my family, I was always interested in what they were making and how they were making it, whether it was crafts, paintings, or music.

Growing up, I always had a special place in my heart for handmade things in general, as they always felt unique and personal to me. I tried drawing, painting, pottery... But jewelry was what really spoke to me, as I always saw it as a form of art that you can wear to express yourself. 

When it comes to accessories, I don’t have just one style. The type of jewelry I choose to wear depends on how I’m feeling that day. I love dainty and delicate necklaces, but once in a while I also love wearing big statement earrings, for example. I like pieces that are stylish, yet classic. For example, I love a piece that can be worn in different types of occasions, such as being a guest at a wedding, or going out to see a movie with friends. Or a necklace that can be combined with different styles of earrings, and while they are not technically a set, they still go together, you know? I want my brand to reflect that, and to provide those types of options to customers.

In addition to that, I have sensitive skin, so the materials that I can wear must be hypoallergenic and durable, so my brand will also follow suit.

I love jewelry and know how it can be tied to emotions. I’ve lived in the United States for over 10 years now, and I blend my Brazilian heritage with modern techniques to create jewelry that feels like a celebration. Whether it’s a gemstone that reminds me of the colorful ipês in my hometown of Brasilia, or a silver curve inspired by a dancer’s silhouette, every piece is made to bring you joy.

My hope is that you can find something that will make you want to do a little dance every time you wear it.
