About

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

Let me introduce myself. I’m Alexandra, and I love making jewelry! I grew up in Brazil and now I live in the United States with my husband and two children.

My passion for jewelry making started long ago. As a child, I loved making friendship bracelets out of yarn and beads. Having artists on both sides of my family, I was always interested in what they were making and how they were making it. Whether it was crafts, paintings, or music.

Growing up, I always had a special place in my heart for handmade things in general, as they always felt unique and special to me. I tried drawing, painting, pottery... But jewelry was what really spoke to me, as I always saw it as a form of wearable art.

During the COVID isolation, I connected with a friend of my sister’s who has a handmade jewelry business in Brazil. We talked about her craft, she taught me some new techniques for making beaded necklaces, and my love for making jewelry was reignited. Since then, I have spent a good amount of my time (as much as possible, while raising small children and working full time) making colorful gemstone bead necklaces for friends and family, as gifts.

One day, after a stressful day at my corporate job, I was venting with a friend about how much jewelry making gave me joy, and that I wished I could just do that every day, and what a dream it would be to live off of that… but I didn’t think that my beaded necklaces were enough because they were too delicate and I wanted to make something more durable. Being a small business owner himself, he encouraged me to learn new techniques. I searched online and found the Jeweller’s Academy, and took most of their free courses for beginners. A whole new world opened up for me!

I bought the materials and started making jewelry using all of the techniques that were taught on the courses. A few months later, I decided to do some of the paid courses, and later enrolled in the Foundations in Silver Jewellery course. It made me feel like I can really do this! 💪

I found and connected with other jewelry makers online, looked at so many different Instagram accounts, different styles of jewelry, found those whose messages inspired me and followed all of them. There are so many wonderful things out there, so many talented people making it work, and I feel like there is room for all of us in this market. So, here we are! In 2025, I decided to turn it into a business.

I love jewelry and know how it can be tied to emotions. My hope is that you can find something that will make you want to do a little dance every time you wear it.
